Adjacent to this room is a gourmet kitchen which is any cook’s dream with two oversized refrigerators and iceboxes, a huge island with bar stools and views of the sprawling green lawn.

The estate’s eight bedrooms are split up between the main house and the guest house, with five suites in the former and three in the latter. The master suite is a real dish with a king size bed, ensuite bathroom with waterfall steam shower and extra-large jetted tub as well as panoramic ocean and beach views. All other rooms also feature king beds and ensuite bathrooms.

Kailua is a well-kept secret from most off-island visitors and offers a calmer pace of life than what is found in Oahu’s bustling southern beaches.
